Với mức giá hơn 7,5 triệu đồng, phiên bản MF200 được Musical Fidelity tự tin tuyên bố rằng sẽ mang chất âm chính xác, cân bằng và trong trẻo hơn so với phiên bản MF100 trước đây.
Điểm nhấn của MF200 là màng loa có kích thước 40mm được tạo hình nguyên khối với độ dày đồng đều trên bề mặt, hướng tới dải tần đáp ứng phẳng và độ méo thấp. Phần vỏ của headphone được tái thiết kế với vật liệu trơ hơn, ngăn chặn phản xạ âm và cộng hưởng không mong muốn. MF200 không thực sự là một chiếc headphone dạng đóng (closed-back), do có một số lỗ thông hơi nhỏ giúp không gian rộng rãi hơn.
Về ngoại hình, Musical Fidelity sử dụng kim loại nhẹ và da mềm để chế tạo MF200, giúp giữ trọng lượng nhẹ mà vẫn đảm bảo độ bền bỉ, sang trọng. Dây cáp đi kèm bọc cao su với thiết kế dạng chống rối, tích hợp sẵn bộ điều khiển smartphone. Đệm tai đi kèm gồm 2 loại da bóng hoặc da lộn, ở bên dưới là bọt biển êm ái.
